Khan Academy is an extraordinary site - it’s a free a way of learning Maths by practicing online.

You can watch one of thousands of videos or practice using their multiple choice questions. It’s utterly remarkable and very exciting.

You can earn badges, you get points as you improve and best of all, you can assign a coach, which means you can have someone who checks your progress. That someone could be me or a parent.

I’ll be incorporating this into my lessons beginning in the new year.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for a TV series that gets to the heart of the excitement I feel about Maths. Finally, one has come along.

It’s called The Code. It’s really good. If you live in the UK, it’s only available for another couple of days, so get it while you can.
